We both grew up in California but after many years of living in the suburbs, fighting traffic and working in the corporate environment we yearned for a connection with the land. Moving our family to Oregon was a natural choice. We found the most beautiful apple orchard in the Applegate and absolutely fell in love with it. Knowing nothing about orcharding we had our work cut out for us. We had to learn quickly and made plenty of mistakes along the way.
Five years later we brought a cider press and all the realated equipment to the orchard and began producing our own sweet (non-alcoholic) cider. We’re now taking things to the next level and launching our “Apple Outlaw” line of hard ciders.

We strive to be good stewards of the land. We are very fortunate to have the opportunity to care for the small piece of our earth where our trees live and we take this responsibility seriously. We farm organically, irrigate conservatively, and encourage biodiversity.
Our community is important to us and we try to help when we can. It can be tough for a small business, but each year we donate at least a thousand pounds of apples to the Josephine County Food bank, and boxes of apples and cider to various local causes.
